The courses offered within the department are grouped into two categories: Compulsory Common Courses and Non-Field Elective Courses. The Compulsory Common Courses category includes the courses Atatürk’s Principles and History of Reforms and Turkish Language. The Non-Field Elective Courses category, on the other hand, comprises a wide pool of courses from which students may choose according to their areas of interest.

Students are able to take a variety of elective courses aligned with their interests, such as Painting, Ceramics, History of Cinema, Photography, Introduction to Philosophy and Philosophical Discourses, History of Science, and Communication Skills. These courses contribute to the development of students’ creativity and artistic expression.

The courses of Turkish Language, Atatürk’s Principles and History of Reforms, Computer, and Ethics and Social Responsibility, offered by the Department, are conducted through the online education method. Alongside compulsory courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Statistics, as well as Sociology, a wide range of elective courses are offered to our students through face-to-face instruction. Within the Department, there are laboratories for Mechanics, Electricity, and Chemistry, in addition to workshops for Ceramics, Stained Glass, and Painting.
