The main purpose of Inter-Curricular Courses Department is to teach several main courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Informatics, History and Turkish and a variety of elective courses to undergraduate and graduate students in high international level.
In our department, there are 4 main units, namely Principles of Atatürk and Revolution History Unit, Basic Engineering Unit, Elective Courses Unit and Turkish Language Unit. Physics and Chemistry courses under Basic Engineering Unit and Informatics under Elective Courses Unit are supported with highly equipped laboratories. Turkish courses under Turkish Language Unit and History courses under Principles of Atatürk and Revolution History Unit are given using WebOnline system.
One of the aims of the department is to educate students who will be able to produce science and technology and will become highly sophisticated with the help of several must and elective courses. The other aim of the department is to publish scientific papers in leading journals in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Statistics and Educational Sciences and to carry out national and international projects with other universities and other countries.
Our educational program allows students to obtain occupational knowledge, think analytically and solve real world problems. Furthermore, our program gives opportunities for the students to develop themselves in a variety of areas such as sports, art, education and history. Inter Curricular Courses Department Laboratories and Studios are Physics Laboratory 1, Physics Laboratory 2, Chemistry Laboratory, Painting Studio, Stained Glass Studio and Ceramics Studio.
